Abstract
The Role of Islamic Education Teachers in Developing Students' Emotional Intelligence at SDIT Al Fikri Islamic Green School Pekanbaru Author Della Mia Mauriza (202410029) This study addresses emotional intelligence issues among students at SDIT Al Fikri Islamic Green School Pekanbaru. The problems manifest as students struggling to control and manage their emotions, leading to impulsiveness, lack of responsibility, social difficulties and aggression. This qualitative descriptive research aims to investigate Islamic Education teachers' roles in fostering students' emotional intelligence. Data collection involved interviews with two Islamic Education teachers. The findings indicate: 1. Teachers create a safe environment, allowing students to express emotions without fear. 2. Teachers impart Islamic concepts like patience and trust in God to manage emotions. 3. Teachers motivate students through praise, inspirational stories and rewards. 4. Teachers educate students on empathy, body language and facial expressions. 5. Teachers foster positive relationships by instilling Islamic values, noble character and healthy interaction skills.
