Abstract

The tourism potential in the city of Pekanbaru is quite diverse, including religious tourism, cultural tourism, cultural heritage tourism and other tourism, this is a potential which, if explored properly, will bring in local revenue that can be attracted is still limited to recreation areas, hotels and restaurants, eateries, accommodation, malls, bars, sports venues, kiosks/cafes, karaoke and health reflexology salons. According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary, the word pattern has the meaning of a model, while travel itself comes from the basic word namely road or track and when combined has the meaning of the activity of moving goods or people from one place to another via a path or track. The characteristic of millennial tourists is that they are diversely motivated, which means they like to travel or have adventures and can travel both individually and in groups, which will produce a travel pattern for the tourists themselves. Tourist movement patterns are obtained from index card recapitulation based on tourist routes. The results of this research are that tourist movement patterns are dominated by one-point patterns with tourist destinations.
