Abstract

The 7-level Batang Koban Waterfall Tourism Area is one of the well-known tourist attractions in Kuantan Singingi Regency. Waterfall Tourism 7 Levels Batang Koban, the provision of tourism components is not good because it is still not supported by the provision of 5 components such as the absence of additional tourist attractions, inadequate service facilities, aspects of accessibility or ease of reaching tourist sites, only water transportation is available. still inadequate, the promotion carried out by the Tourism and Culture Office of the Kuantan Singingi Regency is still not active in promoting tourist areas, and in terms of information, it is still not optimal. This study aims to determine the attractiveness of the 7-level Batang Koban Waterfall Tourism Area according to tourist perceptions by weighting analysis using a Likert scale. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to identify the provision of tourism components and a quantitative descriptive method to identify tourist perceptions of the tourist attraction of 7 Levels Waterfall Batang Koban using the results of a questionnaire which is measured using weighting analysis with the help of a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that the provision of tourism components in the tourist area of 7 Levels Waterfall Batang Koban is still unfulfilled and inadequate. Based on the results of the weighting analysis using a Likert scale, namely (1) This aspect of attraction is able to attract the attention of tourists to visit, with an average value of 84.6%. (2) The aspect of owning service facilities provided by the government is still sufficient because the building exists but is not well maintained anymore, with an average value of 54.1%. (3) The aspect of accessibility to the 7 Levels Waterfall tour of Batang Koban is already good, the road is asphalt even though there are still potholes but categorized as good, with an average value of 73.7%. %. (4) Promotional aspects from the government have been achieved to attract the attention of tourists, with an average value of 83.1%. (5) Aspects of information about the 7 Levels Waterfall tour of Batang Koban are available and accessible, with an average value of 71.3%.
