Abstract

Mukhabarah is a cooperative agreement in the agricultural sector between the land owner and the land cultivator, whereas the land owner hands over his land to the land cultivator to be managed and the results will be shared according to the agreement. This study aims to find out whether there are errors in implementing Poduo in rice farming businesses in Bangkinang regency. To achieve the research objectives, the reseacher applied a qualitative descriptive method through primary data obtained from the field research. The results of the study show that the implementation of Poduo carried out by the Binuang Village community is not fully in line with the perspective of Fiqh Muamalat. This is because there are several provisions that have not been fulfilled, such as contracts that are made verbally without written evidence, there are no witnesses, the time of the agreement is unclear, and there is dishonesty among the community in carrying out this collaboration. From the perspective of Fiqh Muamalat, this is not permitted. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the cooperation agreement must be in accordance with Sharia so that there will be no misunderstanding between the two parties. In this way, the community cooperation will be more secure and it can minimize the occurrence of disputes.
