Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of the promotion mix on the decision to perform Umrah with PT. Auliya Perkasa Abadi Tour and Travel in Rokan Hilir Regency. This study uses primary data which the data are collected directly by distributing questionnaires. The population of the study is the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims who use the services of PT. Auliya Perkasa Abadi Tour and Travel from 2018-2022 with a total of 4,325 pilgrims and a sample of 100 pilgrims. The data collection techniques of the study are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique of the study is the quantitative analysis. The results of the study show that the promotion mix influences the decision to perform Umrah that t-count > t-table (2.817 > 1.98609) with a significance level below 0.05, that is 0.006. Based on the correlation coefficient, the R value is 0.279 or 27.9%, it means that the R value has a low relationship between variables X and Y. The result of the coefficient of determination with an R Squared value is 0.178 or 17.8%, it can be concluded that the purchasing decision (variable X) is influenced by the promotion mix and the remainings (100%-17,8%)=82,2% are influenced by other factors which are not examined in this study.
