Abstract

This type of research is a quantitative approach carried out to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on learning behavior and learning outcomes of students of the Accounting Education Study Program Batch 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau with a total of 65 students. Data collection technique in this case the researcher took a sample of 65 students by distributing questionnaires (questionnaire). The method used is simple regression analysis. The results of the study showed that: (1) Emotional intelligence partially has a significant effect on the Learning Behavior of Accounting Education Students Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Islamic University of Riau. The influence of emotional intelligence on the learning behavior of Accounting Education students Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Islamic University of Riau is 64.1%, while the remaining 35.9% is influenced by other factors which are not present in this study. (2) Emotional intelligence partially has a significant effect on Learning Outcomes of Accounting Education Students Classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Riau Islamic University. The influence of emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes in Accounting Education Batch 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 Islamic University of Riau is 38.1%, while the remaining 61.9% is influenced by other factors which are not present in this study.
