Abstract

One alternative that can be applied when learning during the Covid-19 period is online learning. The lack of interest in students' learning is one of the impacts in online learning, especially in learning mathematics because it is difficult to understand abstract material. Innovation needs to be done to understand the abstract concept, technology can be used as a learning medium that can help solve mathematical problems. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to see the reaction of students' interest in learning to the use of Algebrator Software as an assistant in the online learning process. 18 people were randomly selected as subjects to fill out an interest questionnaire to be given. The results obtained from this study that there is a positive response to the interest of students in using Algebrator Software as an assistant in the online learning process. 3 indicators show a high response and 1 indicator shows a very high response. Based on this, the use of Algebrator Software can be used as an online learning assistant for mathematics to attract students' interest.
