Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM POLICY IN THE FIELD OF DISMISSAL AND INFORMATION OF THE DUMAI CITY PERSONNEL AND HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT AGENCY By: AZZAHRA MIFTARANISA ABSTRACT The presence of a policy on the use of the SIMPEG system in the Dumai City Government Environment is an effort to support the availability of rational, timely and accurate personnel administration data for the purposes of planning, developing, welfare and controlling employees. This study aims to describe and analyze. (1) Implementation of the Personnel Management Information System Policy in the Field of Dismissal and Information of the Dumai City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency. (2) Optimization of the Implementation of Personnel Management Information System Policy. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The results showed that the Implementation of the Personnel Management Information System Policy in the Field of Dismissal and Information of the Dumai City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency as a whole has not run optimally, effectively and efficiently. This can be seen from the weak ability of the apparatus in applying the SIMPEG system based on network technology, in addition to the limited facilities and infrastructure supporting work and the weak commitment of the leadership in encouraging every employee to be more orderly in administering their staffing data so as to make the SIMPEG policy not yet a mandatory thing for every employee to implement. Optimization of the Implementation of Personnel Management Information System Policy can be done by means of (1). Availability of work facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of the SIMPEG System policy at the Dumai City BKPSDM. (2). Strengthening the commitment of leaders in organizing the administration of personnel data through the SIMPEG System. (3). Enforcement of good discipline against the implementation of the SIMPEG System. (4). Strengthening the resource capabilities of the SIMPEG System implementing apparatus through education and training.
