Abstract
One of the gasification systems is the process of converting solid fuels into flammable gases. The gas content that comes out of the exhaust is CO2, H2O and CH4 because the combustion is closer to complete combustion. This study aims to determine the best flue gas, the amount of fuel consumption along with the temperature throughout the reactor, the type of gasification used is the downdraft type, to get results, the gasification system is used as a gas source which will be used to heat the pipes of the heat exchanger then the blower blows clean air through the heat exchanger tubes and into the drying cabinet. This gasification system is useful for minimizing pollutants/smoke coming out of the exhaust. In this research, two variations of air speed were carried out, each with a maximum of: 13.07m/s and a minimum of: 11.71m/s using an anemometer measuring device. The results of the research conducted show that the smoke gas is better and compares the volume of the combustion chamber V1: 0.0157m3, V2: 0.02198m3 and the combustion process is more durable and long lasting
