Abstract

Yummi Company’s sales data both at the Ronggo Warsito branch and the Panam branch in 2022 and 2023 experienced unstable sales traffic. However, it can be seen that after applying digital marketing through platforms or marketplaces, the sales traffic does not experience much of a decline and it also provides many benefits especially for business actors, both SMEs and MSMEs. The aim of the study is to investigate the roles of digital marketing in increasing sales of Yummi Company products from the perspective of Sharia Economics and to understand the obstacles and benefits of applying digital marketing for Yummi Company from the perspective of Sharia Economics. This is a qualitative study. The informants of the study are selected by applying the snowball sampling technique. The main informant of the study is the owner of the Yummi Company Bakery Pekanbaru. Meanwhile, the supporting informants are workers or employees of the Yummi Company Bakery and also customers of the Yummi Company Pekanbaru. The data collection techniques of the study are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique of the study is a descriptive technique. The results of the study show that the use of digital marketing to increase sales applied by Yummi Company involves the social media as a way to provide information and communicate with customers. The Yummi Company can experience an increase in daily revenue of IDR 11,000,000 – 15,000,000 for 2 outlets, this is also based on product sales indicators. Yummi Company also carries out marketing processes according to Islamic teachings. Furthermore, in carrying out its marketing and production processes, Yummi Company has implemented several values ??of business ethics so that these ways can increase customer trust in Yummi Company’s business.
