Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT AT THE AGRICULTURE SERVICE OF BENGKALIS DISTRICT ABSTRACT By RIKA OKTA NOERVASARI The main objective of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of education and training on improving employee performance at the Agriculture Office of Bengkalis Regency. The type of research used in this study is that this research uses an explanatory associate research approach which attempts to explain the causal relationship between variables (associative) through hypothesis testing. The research method used is quantitative which aims to obtain evidence of a causal relationship or the influence of research variables. The sample population in this study was 75 people with the head of the service as a key informant using a census technique for sampling. The type of data used was primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews while secondary data was collected using observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, normality test, simple linear regression test and partial test (T test). Based on the results of data analysis and the results of the research presented earlier, it can be seen that the Implementation of Education and Training has a significant effect on the Performance Improvement of the Bengkalis District Agriculture Service Employee. Bengkalis Regency is acceptable, where the hypothesis results obtained are 11.396 and the rest are influenced by other factors not discussed in this study such as performance, discipline, motivation, competence and so on.
