Abstract
Education in everyday life is part of people's lives where the educational process has existed since the beginning of humans on earth, so for humans education is defined as a human effort to develop their personality in accordance with the values and culture of society. Not only as a teacher in a subject area at school, the teacher also plays a role in motivating students in the learning process because with motivation from the teacher there will be a closer relationship between the teacher and the student because motivation refers to the student's desires, therefore motivation is very necessary in learning process. Motivation to learn is a psychological factor non-intellectual. Typical motivation fosters enthusiasm, students who have strong motivation will have a lot of energy to do it learning activities. Meanwhile, someone has no motivation, except because of coercion or just ceremonial. A student who has quite high intelligence will (perhaps) fail because of a lack of motivation. This research uses a descriptive method of analysis based on qualitative data. Subject This research involved an arts and culture teacher and 2 male and female students as resource persons. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation techniques.
