Abstract
Organic waste is waste that comes from the rest of living things that easily decomposes naturally without human intervention to decompose. In general, people prefer to burn orchop corn stalks by burning them directly so they cannot be used as compost and cause air pollution. This tool/machine is designed to minimize the number of corn stalks that areburned or wasted so that they can be used for environmental balance. In the manufacture ofa tool/machine for crushing corn stalks, it is necessary to choose the right material, so that the tool/machine is able to work optimally. The design process starts with designing the tool using the software inventor 2021, then continues with the tool design process. This tool uses an electric motor as the driving force of the motor specifications used Power 1 HP = 0.75 Kw, Rotation (r/min) 1400 rpm. The materials used in the manufacture of elbow iron, st 37 steel, 1.2 mm steel plate, based on the safety factor, the materials used are declared safe. The capacity of this tool is capable of crushing 3 kg of corn stalks in 60 second and for one hour the production is 180 kg/hour
