Abstract

This research aims to find out about Class Vll Fine Arts Learning at SMPN 35 Pekanbaru in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The theory used by Siti mustagfiroh and Sanjaya. The approach used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative data. Cultural arts learning consists of three stages of activities including preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. Collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation through learning art and culture. The subjects of this assessment ware one arts and culture teacher and 35 students of class Vll SMPN 35 Pekanbaru for the 2023/2024 academic year. The result of conducting this research is that the merdeka curriculum used by SMPN 35 pekanbaru already has used the merdeka curriculum, and the modules used has used the equivalent SMPN modules determined by the government. The learning method used is the method of discussion, question and answer, and assignments. The material studied is about drawing flora,dan natural objects with a time allocation of 4 meetings x 3 lesson hours @ 45 minutes. The results of student learning are that students are able to learn fine arts in groups well in class without any art facilities and infrastructure at school, but students learn well, and it can be seen from the results of student evaluations.
