Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the profile of petanque sport management in Bengkalis Regency. This type of research is descriptive. The population and sample in this research were FOPI administrators in Bengkalis Regency. The research instrument used interviews conducted at the FOPI Bengkalis office and documented. Based on the research results, the conclusion obtained in this research is: The presence of FOPI Bengkalis Regency has been around since 2019 and has been successful as proven by 16 FOPI Bengkalis athletes and were able to provide achievements that were categorized as quite good at the PORPROV Kuansing 2022 event, winning 2nd place in the Petanque sport. Next, he sent 1 athlete to the National level to take part in the qualifying round for the Aceh - North Sumatra PON which was held in Bali, and became champion at the Se-Riau Petanque Provincial Championship and the Open tournament in Pekanbaru.
