Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between leg muscle explosive power and hand eye coordination on the volleyball smash ability of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Agency club. The population in this study were Pekanbaru City Transportation Agency Club athletes. totaling 14 people. This research uses a total sampling technique, meaning that the entire population was sampled in this research, 14 people. This type of research is Correlation. The test instruments in this research used the Loncat tegak, Throw and Catch and Smash tests, then the data was processed using a correlation test. Based on the research results proven by data analysis using a correlation test, the researchers can conclude that there is no contribution of leg muscle explosive power and hand eye coordination to the volleyball smash ability of Pekanbaru City Transportation Club with a value of rcount (0.406) < rtab (0.532)
