Abstract
The purpose of this research was to find out the Efforts to Improve Learning Outcomes of Frontal Smash Volleyball in Class XI IPS-4 Students Using the TGT (Teams Games Tournament) Model at SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is PTK. The population and sample in this study were 35 class XI IPS-4 students at SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The research instrument used was the volleyball frontal smash performance test. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the classical completeness score achieved by students. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the results of the study showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes for frontal smash volleyball in class XI IPS-4 students using the TGT (teams games tunament) model at SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru with an increase in the average student skills during cycle I in the good category. and has not yet achieved a classical completeness score of 80%, only achieved a proportion of a score of 31.43% with a total of 11 students completed with an average score achieved by students of only 73.39. Whereas in cycle II it showed that the ability of students to perform frontal smash movements in volleyball was better with classical completeness of 97.14% and more than 80% who would pass the KKM score (80) with the number of students who completed 35 students with grades the average achieved by students was 90.36
