Abstract

Occupational safety and health (K3) is a determining aspect in which workers can go home and go home safely before and after carrying out activities. To protect occupational safety and health, it is protected and regulated by applicable laws. The aim of occupational safety and health is to create an optimal occupational safety and health system. This research has a main problem that will be discussed, namely, the Implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) for workers at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Air Molek II and the two obstacles in implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) for workers at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Air Molek II. The aim of this research is the same as the main problem formulation, namely to find out the results of the problem formulation created by the researcher. This legal research is a type of empirical legal research/sociological legal research. This type of research method is intended to solve current problems by collecting data and compiling then analyzing and looking at legal realities in society to then obtain results. The results of the research obtained by the author are the implementation of occupational safety and health protection for workers at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Kebun Air Molek is quite good, but supervision needs to be improved. Several employees experienced work accidents caused by several factors, the most important factor being the element of negligence on the part of the workers themselves because they did not use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and the main obstacle in implementing this protection was the workers, due to a lack of awareness of the importance of using them. personal protective equipment.
