Abstract

Based on the environmental temperature problems that occur in the field, it is necessary to conduct research to find out how the effect of Sikament-NN aditifs and coarse aggregate heat on the strength of medium quality concrete (20?fc'<45Mpa) for road construction in terms of flexural strength and strength values compress concrete by conducting experimental tests in the laboratory. The research method was carried out experimentally, namely testing the effect of Sikament-NN additives with a mixture of 0.4%, 0.6%, 1.0%, 1.2% and coarse aggregate when the temperature reached 250C, 300C and 450C. on the compressive strength and flexural strength of concrete using primary data obtained from direct testing in the laboratory. The results of the research obtained obtained the compressive strength (fc') and flexural strength (fs) tests of medium quality concrete (20 ? fc' ? 45 MPa), the addition of Sikamen NN additives at each use of coarse aggregate at temperatures of 250C, 300C, and 450C, did not significantly increase the results of the compressive strength (fc') and flexural strength (fs) tests at ages 7, 14, and 28 against normal concrete. The highest values for flexural strength (fs) and compressive strength (fc') at 28 days of age were the use of coarse aggregate at 250C without additives, namely 3.00 MPa and 34.01 MPa. For the greatest value of flexural strength (fs) at the age of 28 days using additives at a temperature of 250C coarse aggregate with 0.4% Sikamen-NN additives, which is equal to 2.91 MPa. Meanwhile, the highest compressive strength (fc') was obtained at 28 days of age using additives at a coarse aggregate temperature of 450C with 1.0% Sikamen-NN additives, namely 33.59 MPa. The addition of Sikament-NN does not result in an increase in concrete quality but rather as workability so as to facilitate the implementation of concrete work in the field..
