Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility for sustainable development is basically regulated in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies which regulates how companies should carry out their obligations, not only to social society but also to the principles of sustainable development in the natural environment. The problem formulation in this research is how is the Corporate Social Responsibility program of PT Energi Mega Persada Bentu Limited implemented in the construction of the monument in Pangkalan Kerinci City based on Law Number 40 of 2007? 2. What are the inhibiting factors in implementing Energi Mega Persada Bentu Limited's Corporate Social Responsibility in building the monument in Pangkalan Kerinci City? This research method is classified as observational research which is carried out by survey method, namely direct research using data collection tools in the form of interviews. The conclusion drawing that the author uses in this writing is inductive conclusion drawing which starts from specific or specific matters to general matters. The research results show that first, the implementation of corporate social responsibility in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in the field of infrastructure development for the Bono Monument at Energi Mega Persada Bentu Ltd (EMP Bentu Ltd) is based on Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies carried out by EMP Bentu Ltd. can help the regional development program of Pangkalan Kerinci City. The implementation of the TJSP program carried out by EMP Bentu Ltd has been running quite optimally. By considering social and natural aspects. Second, the inhibiting factors in EMP Bentu Limited based on the author's interviews with sources can occur due to internal and external factors, namely external factors, namely the lack of public knowledge regarding EMP Bentu Ltd's CSR program regarding the construction of the Bono Monument, so that CSR activities do not run optimally. because community independence efforts are difficult to sustain.
