Abstract

This research aims to determine transparency and accountability in the research object Simpang Beringin Village, Bandar Sei Kijang District, Pelalawan Regency in accordance with Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 20 of 2018 concerning village fund management. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data taken is primary data obtained from village officials and the community in Simpang Beringin Village, Bandar Sei Kijang District, Pelalawan Regency. Meanwhile, secondary data is in the form of archival documents at the Simpang Beringin village office, such as accountability reports for the realization of the Village APBD, data on population mobility and documents showing proof of money spent. The results of this research indicate that the financial management of Simpang Beringin village, Bandar Sei Kijang District, Pelalawan Regency is not yet transparent. Meanwhile, the financial management of Simpang Beringin Village, Bandar Sei Kijang District, Pelalawan Regency is accountable.
