Abstract
The local community of the tourist destination will be impacted by tourism, both economically and socially, as a result of interactions with visitors. As a result, it's crucial to offer advice to those involved in the tourism industry, particularly the Culture and Tourism Office, Tourism Awareness Groups, and Communities built around tourist attractions. Its application shows that there is still a dearth of members of the tourism awareness group's knowledge, insight, and skills in creating tourism activities. This is demonstrated by the sparse crowds that frequent the Senggarang Pokdarwis-managed temples of Dharma Sanana, Sun Tekong, and the Thousand Statues monastery. There are signs that the tourism service's training-based guidance has not been implemented for a while; the most recent instance was in 2017. Table 1.3, which shows that Pokdarwis last got training in 2017, provides evidence of this. There are hints that Pokdarwis has not consulted the tourism bureau on a regular basis. This is demonstrated by the lack of scheduled meetings between Pokdarwis and the tourism office. Utilizing a qualitative approach, this investigation. According to the findings of this study, Tanjung Pinang City's Culture and Tourism Office has offered both direct and indirect counseling.
