Abstract

THE ROLE OF THE MEPET SAWAH TOURISM OBJECT IN IMPROVING THE ECONOMY OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY (CASE STUDY OF PEMATANG SIKEK RIMBA ACROSS KAB. ROKAN HILIR) BY WAHYUNI 185110929 (Under the guidance of : Drs. Armis.,M.Si the purpose of this study was to determine the role of the close-up rice field tourism object in increasing the income of the people of Rokan Hilir Regency. This reseach was conducted in Rokan Hilir District. The data analysis method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. the subjects used in this research are traders. The results of the study show that the role of the close-to-rice fields tourism object in increasing the income of the people of Rokan Hilir Regency can be seen from the positive impact caused by the close-to-field tourist attraction. The development of economic bussinesses related to the tourist attraction close to rice fields increases community bussiness, and increases the income of the population.
