Abstract
Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) refers to a reservoir process for recovering or producing oil that is not produced in the secondary process. The enhanced oil recovery process targets the remaining oil in the reservoir. EOR focuses on rock, oil, injection systems and on the interaction of capillary pressure and viscosity. The ASP method involves injection of surfactant, alkali and polymer solutions into the reservoir. A mixture of surfactant and alkali forms an emulsion with oil and polymer to increase sweep efficiency. Alkali Surfactant Polymer (ASP) Flooding has been shown to be effective in reducing the saturation of oil residues in laboratory experiments and field projects by reducing the interfacial tension and mobility ratio between the oil and water phases. By injecting Low Salinity water injection into the sandstone reservoir, it increases oil recovery by 8% – 12% - even up to 40% in secondary recovery. This research is by injecting Low Salinity Water Flooding and ASP Flooding. The injection scheme for this method begins with waterflood for 5 years from 2020 to 2024, then in 2025-2026 ASP injection is carried out, after that waterflood is carried out for 4 years from 2026 to 2030. By changing the Alkali concentration 0.5 wt% surfactant 0.27 wt% and pressure bottom hole & producer 500 psi to obtain a recovery factor value of 47.31%.
