Abstract

Dependence on oil and gas and the increasing need for energy derived from oil and gas make oil companies have to do various ways to be able to continue to increase production and meet market demand. Such a large increase in production is also faced with a number of problems and challenges that actually make production decrease. One of them is the problem of passivity. The production of sand along with the production fluid makes the load received by the well heavier, thereby reducing production, in addition to the surface production facilities that need to be built due to the accumulation of sand in the production fluid. In unconventional wells with a portion of sandstone in each layer, the possibility of increasing the problem of passivity is even higher. The results showed that there was an increase in production in wells that experienced a potency problem using the slotted liner method. Production that decreased before control was carried out was recorded at 220.1 BOPD and after control was recorded at 546.6 BOPD
