Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work stress on employee job satisfaction at the Siak Regency Education and Culture Office. The sample in this study is 66 employee respondents. Types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression using SmartPLS version 4. The results of this study indicate that workload partially negatively affects employee job satisfaction and work stress partially negatively affects employee job satisfaction. Workload and work stress simultaneously have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Siak Regency Education and Culture Office.
