Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of competency and service quality on employee performance at the Batang Cenaku Subdistrict Office, Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study amounted to 48 people using the census method. The data analysis used is a structural equation model with SmartPLS. The results of this research found that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, where the employees of the Batang Cenaku Subdistrict Office have good competence which has an impact on employee performance. Furthermore, service quality has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, which means that Batang Cenaku Subdistrict Office employees have quality in providing services to the community.
