Abstract

This study aims to find out how the form of the song Tanjung Pinang Kampong Kite in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands Province. This research methodology is a descriptive non-interactive analysis with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation. The object of this study is the song "Tanjung Pinang Kampong Kite". The theory used to analyze the form of songs and the elements of song form is the theory of Karl Edmund Prier SJ, the elements of song form are (1) Motifs (2) Phrases (3) Periods or sentences (4) Themes (5) Kadens and the theory of musical elements used is Aaron Copland's theory namely (1) Rhythm, (2) Melody (3) Harmony (4) Timbre. The results of the study are (1) Knowing the formulation of the problem, namely how the song Tanjung Pinang Kampong Kite CiptaanSupriyadiHasanin (Adi Lingkepin) forms. Tanjung Pinang Kampong Kite song is included in the form of a three-part song and there are 3 themes. The song Tanjung Pinang Kampong Kite starts with a scale of 2# (D = Do) with the tempo used by Moderato in sentences A, A', B, and C at a speed of 80, this song uses a difficult mark of 4/4. In sentences A, A' and C each have 2 antecedent phrases and 2 consistent phrases and sentence B has a pair of phrases. Tanjung Pinang Kampong Kite song has 18 rhythm patterns and 25 motifs, the sound used in this song is Mezzosopran.
