Abstract
Marketing Analysis of Oil Palm Fresh Fruit Bunches at CV. Anugerah Bumi Riau in Pantai Raja Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. Under the Guidance of Dr. Azharuddin M. Amin, M.Sc. The marketing of oil palm plantation products in the form of FFB which is carried out independently by smallholders is still considered very difficult so that the presence of CV. ABR can assist smallholders in marketing FFB. This study aims to analyze: 1) Business profile of CV. ABR, 2) Marketing institutions, marketing channels and marketing functions that occur between oil palm farmers and CV. ABR and PT. PEU, 3) Marketing costs, marketing margins, farmer’s share and the resulting marketing efficiency between oil palm farmers and CV. ABR and PT. PEU. The research method is a survey. The research was conducted for 6 (six) months starting from March 2022 to August 2022. Respondents in this study were 15 oil palm farmers who partnered with CV. ABR is continuously located in Pantai Raja Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The data used comes from primary data and secondary data. Data were analyzed quantitatively and descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that: 1) CV. ABR is an intermediary agency for marketing FFB between oil palm smallholders and PT. PEU. CV. ABR is categorized as a medium-sized business and this company was founded using capital originating from the assets of the company's founder, Hidayat Siregar S.E. 2) Marketing institutions involved include oil palm smallholders as FFB producers, CV. ABR as a marketing intermediary and PT. PEU as consumers of FFB. The marketing channels that occur have a level one marketing channel pattern. CV. ABR is engaged in marketing activities by carrying out marketing functions which include exchange functions, physical distribution functions, and facilitating functions to distribute FFB from farmers to PT. PEU. 3). Marketing costs on CV. ABR includes the cost of electricity bills of Rp. 80,96/kg, internet bill of Rp. 14,17/kg, employee salary of Rp. 89,96/kg. Marketing costs to farmers include loading and unloading costs of Rp. 20,00/kg, weighing fee of Rp. 20,00/kg, the car rental fee is Rp. 110,00/kg and driver wages of Rp. 30,00/kg. In this FFB marketing activity, a marketing margin of Rp. 225,84/kg, farmer’s share of 88,43%, marketing efficiency to farmers of 9,44% and marketing efficiency to CV. ABR of 9,22%. The percentage of marketing efficiency obtained shows that FFB marketing activities through CV. ABR can be said to be efficient.
