Abstract

Increase chest pass learning outcomes through a Reciprocal teaching style at SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning to chest pass in basketball games through a reciprocal teaching style at SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is classroom action research, the subject of research is class VII.5 SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru, totaling 34 students. The data analysis technique was carried out by looking at the practice of students' passing chest passes using performance tests. From the implementation of cycle 1, there were 29 students (85.29%) who completed and 5 students (14.7%) did not complete. While in cycle II there were 31 students (91.17%) who completed and 3 students (8.82%) did not complete. based on the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that by applying a reciprocal teaching style in learning can increase learning outcomes of passing chest pass in class VII.5 students of SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru.
