Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction effect of giving sweet orange peel waste POC and organic NPK on the growth and production of green okra plants. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, for 4 months starting from February to May 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors. The first factor was liquid organic fertilizer from sweet orange peel waste and the second factor was organic NPK. POC administration of orange peel waste consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 30, 60, 90 ml/l and organic NPK 0, 9.37, 18.75, 28.13 g/plant, so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained. Where each treatment combination consisted of 4 plants. 2 of them were sampled for a total of 192 plants. From the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that: The interaction of POC orange peel and organic NPK has a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, fruit weight per plant, fruit diameter, fruit length, and the number of fruit residue. The results of POC analysis of orange peels were N 0.07%, P 0.03% K 0.12%. The best treatment was a combination of POC orange peel 60 ml/l water and organic NPK fertilizer at a dose of 18.75 g/plant. Mainly the POC of orange peel has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment is at a dose of 60 ml/l water. Mainly organic NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was the administration of organic NPK 18.75 g/plant.
