Abstract

The human need for fossil energy is increasing, one of which is the use of gas stoves, and its reserves are depleting every year, without being balanced with new fossil energy sources because it takes a ver y long time. To overcome the problem of human dependence on non - renewable energy sources, alternative energy is used, namely solar energy. With these problems, it is necessary to planning of solar power plant for induction cogs for household needs, this is done to replace a fuel oil stove or gas stove into an induction stove by utilizing sunlight using solar panels.. The purpose of planning the design of a solar induction cooker are: (1) Knowing the dimensions/sizes in planning a solar - based Induction cooke r. (2) To find out the working drawing of a solar - based Induction cooker for household needs. The basis of this planning is done by measuring directly, observing and discussing how much power the induction cooker needs, so that solar radiation data and ene rgy demand data are obtained. This PLTS plan uses a solar panel with a capacity of 200 WP, an 80 Ah battery), Solar Charger Controller with type MPPT 20 A and a 1000 Watt Inverter.
