Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of Tricho application of corn compost and organic NPK to celery plants in PMK soil. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau from June to September 2022. This research used a completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was Tricho corn compost (T), which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 5, 10 and 15 grams per polybag. The second factor was organic NPK, which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 75, 150 and 225 grams per polybag. Parameters observed were plant height, relative growth rate, number of tillers, number of stems, fresh weight of plants, dry weight of plants and root volume. The data obtained were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction between Tricho corn compost and organic NPK fertilizer was significant on plant height, relative growth rate, number of tillers, number of stems, plant fresh weight, dry weight, and root volume. The best treatment is Tricho corn compost 225 g/polybag and Organic NPK 15g/polybag. The main effect of Tricho corn compost was significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was Tricho corn compost 225 g/polybag. The main effect of real organic NPK on all observation parameters. The best treatment was giving Organic NPK 15 g/polybag.
