Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the interaction effect as well as the main effect of coffee skin bokashi and Atonik ZPT on the growth of cocoa seedlings. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution No.113, Air cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The study was conducted for 5 months starting from September to February 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design (CRD) which consisted of two factors. The first factor was the dose of coffee skin bokashi consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 300, 600 and 900 g per polybag and the second factor was the concentration of ZPT Atonik which consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 1, 2 and 3 ml per liter. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, dry weight, root volume and root canopy ratio. Data were analyzed statistically and presented with the Honest Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results of the study concluded that the interaction of coffee skin bokashi and Atonik ZPT had a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter and dry weight. The best treatment was a combination of 900 g coffee peel bokashi dose per polybag and 3 ml Atonik ZPT concentration per liter. The main effect of real coffee skin bokashi on all observation parameters, the best treatment was a dose of 900 g per polybag. The main effect of Atonik ZPT was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment was a concentration of 3 ml per liter.
