Abstract
According to SNI 03-2847-2002 concrete is a mixture of hydraulic cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, and water with or without additives. Concrete is also very susceptible to cracking, this can affect the durability of concrete buildings, so it is necessary to repair buildings and require funds because damaged materials become unusable. From the problems that occur, a concrete innovation is carried out that can overcome these problems, namely by self-healing concrete which aims to repair concrete cracks independently and fill concrete pores with the production of CaCO3 minerals caused by bacillus cereus bacteria. This study uses the concrete mix calculation method (mix design) based on SNI 7656: 2012. This study used 21 cylindrical samples. This method is done by adding bacillus cereus bacteria and coal bottom ash waste. The percentage of bacteria is 10% of the volume of water and coal bottom ash waste is 20% of fine aggregate. Based on research, compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete with a mixture of coal bottom ash waste with a percentage of 20% as a partial replacement for fine aggregate increased by 31.80 Mpa with a percentage increase of 44.61% for the result of the tensile strength value of concrete, which is 0.36 Kg / cm2 with an increase percentage of 33.33%. The compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete with a mixture of coal bottom ash waste and bacillus cereus bacteria with a percentage of 10% of the volume of water experienced an increase in compressive strength and tensile strength of concrete which was 27.77 Mpa with a percentage increase of 26.28% and for the results of the value of concrete tensile strength of 0.32 Kg / cm2 with an increase percentage of 18.52%. The compressive strength value of concrete after cracking is higher than that of uncracked concrete. From the results of the Scanning Electronic Microscope test on concrete, it can be seen the difference in concrete added to bacillus cereus bacteria. That is, concrete added bacillus cereus bacteria visible needle-shaped bacterial cells. Concrete, Self Healing Concrete, Bottom Ash, Bacteria Bacillus Cereus, Scanning Electron Microscope
