Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility or abbreviated TJSP is a program that obliges corporations to participate in implementing social and environmental welfare, referring to ISO 26000 there are 7 CSR subjects, namely: Business Entity Responsibility, Human Rights, Employment Practices, Environment, Organizational Ethical Practices, Consumer Protection, and Community Engagement and Development. Indonesia strictly regulates CSR through Law no. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, Article 1 number 3 and article 74 explicitly mention CSR and the purpose of CSR itself. This research explores the implementation of TJSP PT. SNEPAC In Kec. Ampar stone Batam City. PT. SNEPAC is engaged in the transportation of goods, based on statutory regulations and their derivatives, PT. SNEPAC has an obligation to implement CSR, the people of Kec. Batam City's Batu Ampar is an area that received the CSR program from the Company, but the program implemented was felt to have not touched the value of Sustainability, so this was the subject of study in this study. This research is a Juridical Empirical research, where primary data is obtained directly from interviews conducted with informants who are directly in contact with PT. SNEPAC. From the research results, it was found that PT. SNEPAC has carried out CSR well and has significantly benefited the community, but has not really touched on the objectives of CSR itself, namely Sustainability, besides that the community also does not understand the concept of CSR well and then the community does not make a planning blueprint that will provide a good life, right? only for the current generation, but also for future generations.
