Abstract
Bridges have a very important meaning in the transportation system that will directly determine the direction of movement of goods and services. The timing of the bridge will affect the bridge. In the process of bridge work, there is a time that we need to pay attention to in the erection work of the girder. The girder assembly to be used on a project must be analyzed for optimization of machine timing and efficiency on project implementation. This study was conducted to analyze the comparison of the installation work time of composite steel girders and concrete girder beams, as well as the efficiency of the work of excavator and crane heavy equipment in the installation process of composite steel girders and concrete girder beams. The method used is the time study method, specifically for excavator and crane heavy equipment, including lifting, turning, moving, descending, and returning, while the assembly is distinguished on the speed of execution of the girder work. From the results of the calculation of the implementation time, it shows, that the installation work of the composite steel girdder is 14 hours 22 minutes, and the installation work of the concrete girder beam is 18 hours and 57 minutes, the comparison time of the work is 5 hours 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the comparison of the efficiency of heavy equipment work time in the installation of steel girders was obtained by 12.30% and the efficiency time of heavy equipment work in the installation of concrete girders was obtained by 4.35%. So that the comparison time of heavy equipment work in the installation of steel girders and concrete girders obtained 7.64% of the total efficiency time.Time Study, Composite Steel Girder, Concrete Girder, Girder Installation, and machine efficiency.
