Abstract

Psychological Analysis of Novel Happy Novel Literature Only the works of Tere Liye. Literary psychology as a science that studies the human soul and personality which is associated with literary works because in literary works can be found various behaviors, characters and conflicts experienced by humans. With the facts above, the authors are interested in conducting research entitled "Psychological Analysis of Literature of Goodbye Novel by Tere Liye". Problems in the research: (1) What is the characterization of the characters in the study of literary psychology in Tere Liye's Goodbye novel? (2) What is the theme in Tere Liye's Goodbye novel? (3) How is the character conflict in the study of literary psychology in Tere Liye's Goodbye novel? The theory used in literary psychology research refers to Mana Sikana's theory (1986) and other supporting theories, namely, Burhan Nurgiyantoro (2013), Hamidy (2012). The approach used is a qualitative approach with a type of library research, and uses a descriptive method. Data collection techniques through hermeneutic techniques. The results of the study concluded that: (1) character traits have 14 data (2) themes 4 data (3) character conflicts have 12 data.
