Abstract

IMPACT ANALYSIS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ARENGKA MORNING MARKET FLYOVER MUHAMAD IDZUL AKFA 153110508 ABSTRACT The intersection of the morning market arengka on the Soekarno Hatta (SKA) - HR Soebrantas road (Panam) has a heavy traffic flow from various directions. Then in the area there is a traditional market, namely the morning market arengka, Pekanbaru city. The existence of the arengka morning market on the road resulted in frequent traffic jams, due to the large number of arengka morning market traders selling on the shoulder of the road, so parking areas and market activities took up the width of the road, which caused the road to become narrow and frequent traffic jams. The government made efforts to overcome these problems by building a Flyover that leads to the Soekarno Hatta (SKA) road - HR Soebrantas road (Panam). Therefore, this study aims to analyze the characteristics of the arengka morning market Flyover road and the impact of the construction of the Flyover on the arengka morning market traders who have been operating until now. This research is guided by the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) to determine the effectiveness of intersection performance. The parameter used to determine the effectiveness of the intersection performance is the degree of saturation. Then the analysis of the economic impact is seen through filling out questionnaires by traders at the Arengka morning market. After the results of the respondent's data were collected, the data was first tested for validity and reliability with the reproducibility coefficient and the scalability coefficient using the Guttman scale. The results of the analysis of the characteristics of the Flyover of the morning market arengka, the maximum volume on the top lane (Flyover) is 1183.9 pcu/hour, capacity (C) is 2,269 pcu/hour, the degree of saturation is 0.52 category C service level, namely stable flow, but vehicle speed and motion controlled. the results of a questionnaire regarding the impact of Flyover construction on arengka morning market traders. From the economic aspect, the construction of the flyover does not increase the income of the traders or the interest of visitors. From an environmental point of view, the construction of flyovers is very helpful in breaking down traffic jams that used to always occur.Flyover, Arengka Morning Market, Impact.
