Abstract
This study aims to determine the cognitive learning difficulties of students in class VIII SMPN 33 Pekanbaru in Integrated Science learning. The population in this study were all class VIII consisting of 3 classes. Sampling in this study used a saturated sample (Saturation Sampling) with a sample of 101 students. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. This research instrument uses interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results of the percentage of students' cognitive learning difficulties in emotional difficulties were 62.00%, with the high category, the percentage of students' difficulties in remembering was 62.63%. with high category. the percentage of difficulty thinking is 61.58% in the high category. and the percentage of language difficulties 61.15% is in the high category. the average cognitive learning difficulty of students from 4 indicators is 61.84% in the high category.
