Abstract

Self-healing concrete or SHC is a concrete that can independently repair cracks in concrete and is expected to fill the pores in concrete with the production of CaCO3 minerals caused by the activity of microorganisms in the concrete, these microorganisms are produced from the extraction process carried out on vegetable waste grout) what if this vegetable waste extract (vege grout) is mixed with urea and CaCl to produce calcium carbonate CaCO3. There are 27 samples of concrete test objects, where the size of the concrete mold is 15cm x 15cm x 15cm totaling 3 specimens for each variation. 0% totaling 3 samples, the first stirring with variations of 3%, 5%, 7%, 9% totaling 12 samples to replace the weight of cement to be tested using a concrete compressive strength machine at 28 days of treatment. second mixing with variations of 3%, 5%, 7%, 9% totaling 12 samples replacing the weight of cement to be cracked using a hammer after 28 days of treatment, after that the cracked sample was recovered for 28 days, then the sample was tested for pressure, for immersion using peat water. The effect of adding vegetable waste extract increased compared to normal concrete which had a value of 31.54 MPa, with a concrete compressive strength value of 3% bacterial variant which was 32.88 MPa, 5% variant 32.56 MPa, 7% variant 32.5 MPa, and experienced decrease in the 9% bacterial variant with a compressive strength value of 30.51 MPa. In immersion in river water, the compressive strength value decreased compared to normal treatment, then decreased after the concrete was cracked and cured for 28 days. The results of the Mandiri Recovered concrete process for each variation of 3%, 5%, 7%, 9% experienced changes in the increasingly closed cracks, although they did not close completely. The effect of river water immersion on the compressive strength of concrete with the addition of vegetable waste extract decreased by about 10%.
