Abstract

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE SAM'IYYAH SYAFAWIYAH METHOD IN IMPROVING STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION TO LEARN ARABIC LANGUAGE AT MTs AN-NAJAH BUKIT RAYA DISTRICT PEKANBARU CITY T. YUSRIL HARI BUDIMAN 182710173 This study aims to investigate the Effectiveness of the Sam'iyyah Syafawiyyah Method in improving students’ motivation to learn Arabic language at MTs An-Najah, Bukit Raya District Pekanbaru City. The method of the study is used to answer the problem formulation and hypotheses in the form of the Experimental Method with the True Experimental Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design and with the type of quantitative research. Based on the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.036 <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference of the average of students’ motivation who learn Arabic language between the use of the Sam'iyyah Syafawiyyah method and the conventional method. There is a significant influence of the use of the Sam'iyyah Syafawiyyah method in improving students’ motivation to learn Arabic language at MTs An-Najah, Bukit Raya District Pekanbaru City compared to the conventional method. The hypothesis testing shows that the average results of students’ motivation to learn Arabic language using the Sam'iyyah Syafawiyyah method is 34.2069 while the conventional method is 31.8462.Method, Sam'iyyah Syafawiyyah, Learning Motivation
