Abstract
Indonesia is the largest palm oil producer in the world along with Malaysia which currently controls about 85% of the world's palm oil production. The development of the palm oil industry continues to increase from year to year. This can be seen from the increase in the area of oil palm plantations in Indonesia in the last five years, namely in 2015 the area of oil palm plantations was 11,260,277 ha and in 2019 it had reached 14,677,560 ha (Ditjenbun, 2019). The increase in area is due to the relatively stable price of CPO in the international market, thus providing a promising income for producers. As the area increases, of course it will lead to an increase in demand for superior oil palm seeds. If at any time the demand is higher than the availability of seeds, it is feared that fake seeds will circulate to cover the shortfall in the demand for these seeds. Related to technological developments and consumer needs, an idea arose to create an application for ordering oil palm sprouts which aims to prevent consumers from selling fake seeds that can harm oil palm farmers because this application works directly with nurseries in Riau Province and this application also useful to make it easier for consumers to get the desired superior seeds easily and efficiently.
