Abstract

TEACHER’S EFFORT IN CONTROLLING STUDENTS’ EMOTION AT KINDERGARTEN MUTIARA UMMI TAMPAN SUBDISTRICT INGGIT WINARSIH NPM :161510065 The purpose in this research examined to know the teacher’s effort in controlling students’ emotion at kindergarten Mutiara Ummi. Teacher’s effort was very important in controlling students’ emotion. Furthermore, this research was conducted to know the effort was done by teacher in overcoming students’ emotion. This research used qualitative research approach. Data collection technique used observation, interview, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis technique used data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The subject in this research consisted of two teachers as main informant and one head master as supported informant. Research finding showed that there were some effort was done by teacher in overcoming students’ emotion that were: (1) knowing and understanding students’ personal and character, (2) searching the trigger how students’ emotion was formed, (3) giving understanding to students to control their emotion in good way, (4) teacher used telling story method to develop students’ emotion. This research finding also showed that teacher’s effort in controlling students’ emotion could be concluded in “succeed” Teacher, Emotion
