Abstract
THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHERS’ CREATIVITY ON STUDENTS’ INTEREST IN LEARNING FIQHIN GRADE XI AT MADRASAH ALIYAH HIMMATUL UMMAH OF TAPUNG DISTRICT SEPTIA ANDRIANI 192410316 The background of the study is the lack of students’ interest in learning Fiqh with the signs such as there are some students who do not care about the material taught by the teachers because of a lack of enthusiasm to learn the lessons and there are some students who sleep in class when learning Fiqh due to fatigue. There are three problem formulations of the study: what is the level of teachers’ creativity in Fiqh learning ingrade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District?; what is the level of students’ interest in learning Fiqh in grade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District?; and is there any influence of teachers’ creativity on students’ interest in learning Fiqh in grade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District? The aim of the study is to find out how the level of teachers’ creativity in Fiqh learning in grade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District; what the level of students’ interest in learning Fiqh in grade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District, and whether there is an influence of teachers’ creativity on students’ interest in learning Fiqh in grade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District. The population of the study is 174 students and the sample taken is 121 students. This study consists of variable X (Teachers’ Creativity) and variable Y (Interest in Learning). The data correlation analysis method used is a simple regression test. The results of simple regression analysis show that a significance value is less than 0.05, namely 0.000, then Ha is accepted, it means that there is an influence of teachers’ creativity on students’ interest in learning Fiqh ingrade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District. The level of influence of the teachers’ creativity on students’ interest in learning Fiqh in grade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Himmatul Ummah of Tapung District is 0.217, which is in the range 0.20 – 0.399, and included in the category of the low influence.Teachers’ Creativity, Students’ Learning Interest
