Abstract
THE INFLUENCE OF DISCIPLINE ON LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT STUDENTS AT MTs MASMUR PEKANBARU BY: FIKA MURDIANITA NPM: 182410316 Discipline is student behavior that is in accordance with the rules or regulations regulations that apply either consciously or by coercion, form of punishment or punishment. Learning achievement is a result that has been achieved by students after carrying out learning activities. student success in his studies is influenced by the way he learns. Students who have a way Effective learning makes it possible to achieve results or achievements higher. Students who have discipline in learning will try organize and use strategies and ways of learning that are right for him. This research is motivated by the problem of student learning achievement that occurs in some class VIII students at MTs Masmur Pekanbaru. Where found learning achievement in some subjects students still get value low, students have not been able to receive lessons properly and there is some students who are less active in learning. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of discipline on student achievement at MTs Masmur Pekanbaru. This type of research quantitative with a correlation approach. The population in this study is class VIII students at MTs Masmur totaling 84 students with the same sample the total population is 84 students. Data collection technique using questionnaires and documentation. Based on the data analysis that has been carried out, it is known that there is an influence of Discipline on Achievement Study students at MTs Masmur Pekanbaru. It is known that the results simple linear regression analysis with a significance value of 0.001, then 0.001 smaller than 0.05, so the research hypothesis is accepted. Big Discipline effect of 0.137 or 13.7% is categorized very low, because it is in the range of 0.00 – 0.199 as contained in Table of interpretation of the correlation coefficient, while the remaining 86.3% is affected by other things. Level of relationship between discipline and achievement class VIII student learning at MTs Masmur Pekanbaru is included in the category low. Discipline, Learning Achievement
