Abstract

THE AQIDAH AKHLAK TEACHER’S EFFORT IN STUDENTS’ CHARACTER BUILDING AT ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL HASANAH PEKANBARU BY: EDO APRIALDI 182410077 Character was a very important thing. There was a fast decrease of character and it spread out broadly and affect to every field of human life if it was not overcome. The purpose in this research examined to know Aqidah Akhlak Teacher’s effort in students’ character building at junior high school Hasanah Pekanbaru. This research used qualitative method. Qualitative method used to research natural object and the instrument. The method used case student method. Based on research finding, it could be concluded that aqidah akhlak teacher’s effort in students’ character building was done by direct education, indirect education and giving advantages. Students’ character guidance by giving special approach such as giving good example, giving motivation, and giving guidance and habitual training. The government should pay attention of teacher’s teaching load. The high and much work of teacher’s job would make teacher did not have enough time to give attention and guide students’ character. Teacher must have good approach in creating and guiding students’ character. Parents also active and participate in guiding students’ character. Teacher’s Effort, Character
