Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of Islamic Studies teachers in fostering the Islamic personality of students at MTs Tahfizh Rabbaniy and describe the role of Islamic Studies teachers in improving education.The students really need teachers who are innovative, creative, professional and fun to make them feel comfortable while studying because students must receive knowledge of the material or lessons taught by the teacher as supporting and inhibiting factors in fostering students. This is a case study with qualitative approach, that is a study that focuses on a particular case to be observed and analyzed carefully.The data collection techniques of the study areinterview and documentation. The object of the study is the role of Islamic Studies teachers at MTs Tahfizh Rabbaniy. The results of the study show that the role of Islamic Studies teachers in fostering student personality is very necessary. The obstacle faced was the lack of facilities to support their activities. The implication of the teachers’ role makes students have a better personality.the role of Islamic Studies teachers, Islamic personality
