Abstract

THE ROLE OF BAZNAS (NATIONAL ZAKAT AGENCY) OF KAMPAR REGENCY IN DECREASING POVERTY RATE THROUGH PROSPERITY KAMPAR PROGRAM BY AHMAD SYUKRI 192310243 National Zakat Agency of Kampar Regency was a government non-structural institution that personal and responsibility to presidents through religion ministry. National Zakat Agency had five programs and one of them was prosperity Kampar. This program gave aid to ummat economic, especially mustahik that was in building a business but they were lack of capital. This research conducted at National Zakat Agency of Kampar Regency. Research formulation in this research questioned about how was the role of National Zakat Agency at Kampar Regency in decreasing poverty rate through Prosperity Kampar Program. The purpose in this research examined how the role of National Zakat Agency of Kampar Agency in decreasing poverty rate through prosperity Kampar Program. This research used qualitative research. Qualitative research was a phenomenon approach that observed and researched problems or certain condition from research object. Data collection technique in this research used observation, interview, and documentation. Then, data collection was analyzed used descriptive qualitative theory, by using data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. Based on data analysis from interview result through informant. Informant in this research consisted of head of national zakat agency of Kampar Agency, vice III of national Zakat Agency of Kampar Regency, and distribution coordinator of National Zakat Agency of Kampar Regency. It could be concluded that the role of National Zakat Agency in decreasing poverty rate through prosperity Kampar program was very helpful to mustahik economic and enable to decrease poverty rate at Kampar Regency. Also, the suggestion to National Zakat Agency of Kampar Regency was that this agency should preserve the program and must more active in socialize to the village and should do evaluation ,National Zakat Agency of Kampar Regency, Prosperity Kampar Program.
