Abstract

From monitoring data conducted by BAZNAS Riau Province in 2018 for the period January to October 2018, BAZNAS for Rokan Hilir Regency is the smallest fund collector from the districts in Riau Province. It can be seen that the receipt of zakat in Rokan Hilir Regency is 500 million in 2018, 5 billion in 2019, while in 2020 it has decreased to 1.2 billion. The purpose of this research is to find out how to influence muzakki's interest in paying zakat at the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Bagansiapiapi, Rokan Hilir Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data in this study used two data sources, namely: primary data from interviews and supported by secondary data. The data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The findings in this study that Muzakki's interest in paying zakat at BAZNAS Rokan Hilir Bagansiapiapi City indicate that zakat payments are more influenced by factors of interest, desire, and belief. However, in terms of the level of awareness of muzakki in paying zakat, it is relatively high. However, the pattern of zakat payments by muzakki is dominantly influenced by factors of interest, confidence and credibility and accountability of zakat institutions, in this case BAZNAS Rokan Hilir. The role of Baznas Rokan Hilir in increasing muzzaki's interest in paying zakat is very effective. It's just that people haven't distributed zakat at BAZNAS Rokan Hilir because they don't have experience with the procedures for paying zakat through BAZNAS and the location factor to BAZNAS from the muzakki's place of residence which is far away.Muzaki's Interest, Interest, Desire, Belief.
